Looks to be a Billbergia and that is as far as I can go on the ID.

I actually thought it was some sort of Aechmea, but the flower does not last long, like only a week. So that point would certainly be closer to a Billbergia. It also looks so much like my Hohenbergia Fudge Ripple (in appearance and size), but green, but I have yet to see my Fudge Ripple flower to be able to compare. It is a gorgeous brom though!!!

My Hohenbergia 'Fudge Ripple' flower stalk reaches around 3.5' in height and is branched and flowering last for months.

OK guys, I just figured it out. Lots of research involved! It is an Aechmea Fasciata x Nudicaulis! The dead giveaway, which I am kicking myself for, is the Nudicaulis "V" at the bottom of each leaf. Can't believe I figured this one out by myself!!! Can I give myself a hand? Hurray!
