As always Arif, your plants look lovely. They have excellent care and a good environment.

I am worried that Parker, Colorado may be a bit cold to set a plant outdoors. It is currently 14.9 Fahrenheit which converts to -9.5 celsius. I am afraid that severe cold temperature will turn this young ladys' plant to mush. As a result, I posted the caveat above.

-9C? I am afraid Kristi is correct and just grin and put up with that eyesore. Just give it a wash.
Kristi when it rains does the temperature remain in the minus or like when it snows the temperature is stable at zero? Colorado, New Mexico, West Texas and that area in general marches to a different tune compared to the rest. Why?

Arif.

These days weather is unpredictable in general but I've not lived in Colorado so I can not truly answer your question.

I moved far from cold country when I was old enough to know I didn't like it but young enough to not care or know much about the weather.

I dislike the cold and short days of winter. Right now we (in this hemisphere) are all looking forward to the warmth of the spring and summer seasons.

Do you see similar seasonal changes Arif?

Yes we do. I am just above the belt which has three seasons, we have all four. Then due to the close proximity of the mountains are winters are temperate rain forest type. In the Monsoons we have tropical rain forest type, hot and muggy. Mid April the temperatures start peaking at 45c up to July 15th then the Monsoons start. They last up tell mid September if we are lucky. Then heat peaks again till October. Cold actually starts on the 15th of December.
For the last three days it has been dark cloudy with downpours. Next bout is due by not this Saturday but next Saturday, then rains. Fun on the farms will start if the rains go on till end March or beyond. Wheat will not ripen, it needs stinking heat for that.

Arif.

Thank you both very much! Group hug Here in Parker we've been in the teens Fahrenheit at night and days vary just as low to perhaps 40 degrees Fahrenheit. We don't usually get sleet and our snow fall has been pretty mild. Our temps have been cold though. Spring weather starts around end of March beginning of April. Cool nights and warm sunny days. Smiling

I'm from NM and live in CO and have no idea why the weather is so different here. I feel like a numb nut but like Kristi said I don't care much for the cold either and don't know much about the weather changes. Rolling on the floor laughing Confused *Blush* Sorry!

Recommend a wash, is there anything special I should do? Or just rinse the entire plant with water? I'll keep the eyesores indoors for now. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Big Grin Thanks for the laugh cause you aren't kidding!

Nothing special, just a watering can dripping water over it. Do it on a bright sunny day and leave it out to dry. As to this weather and plant thing, I am going over to the Semp forum to ask Lynn some questions I tip my hat to you. .
Regards,
Arif.
