You know, Neil, floating pennyroyal is probably a common name, a synonym for the plant, in some areas.
Plants out of place always present us with challenges, like kudzu and knotweed, bindweed too.

No one is making money off Kudzu. Maybe some day when they find a good way to use it, if that every happens.

Some people here are making and selling baskets made from kudzu.
If you Google Images 'kudzu baskets' you'll see some like this one (which I borrowed to show you).
They'll have to make a lot of baskets to make a dint in that plant. It is truly wreaking havoc all over this area and many others.

Actually, both hogs and goats can be grown on kutzu. The problem is that almost all of the kutzu is on government land....
Governments aren't known for their innovative solutions to problems.....
