Ran across this in one of my herb books. During the Black Plague, four brigands were plundering houses of the ill without contracting the disease. When they were caught, they bargained for their lives in exchange for their secret, which was this vinegar infusion: Finely chop 60 gm (2 oz) of rosemary, sage, peppermint, and angelica root. Place in a large jar, fill with wine vinegar, and let steep in a warm spot for a couple weeks. Strain and take internally by the spoonful, use externally to cleanse and disinfect.

Might be useful for our current health crisis, who knows?
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

interesting you brought this up It has been on my list of things to try for some time *Blush*
probably wont take it internally (may try it) but will use it for cleaning
Great way to use up the extra herbs here at the end of season.
