I acquired some Ipomopsis rubra (standing cypress) seeds. Most of what I've seen says it is hardy in Zones 6-9. I'm just North of the natural range. I'm wondering if anyone in a zone similar to mine has overwintered these? They are biennials so that would be an issue. Also, if they can survive, has anyone wintersown them? Other tips?

Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.
