Yellow Trumpets

This is an unknown trumpet lily which blooms in mid to late June here in 5a/b. As an un-named cultivar it has stood the test of time in growth, bloom and beauty. It has grown for me nearly 20 years now without fail.

What gorgeous trumpet lilies. Y'all know I'm a big sucker for lilies. I have some white trumpets that I started from seed more than twenty years ago. In the meantime many commercial lilies have come and gone.

Thanks everyone. At the moment this is the only picture I have available from which the banner was made. It is kind of "marginal" since there is some deep shade and bright sunlight both dominating the photo. I will look for a better picture. This was taken June 29, 2016.
