Enclosed a picture of Salvia Dear Anja. I bought this plant from Anja at the nursery of her husband Piet Oudolf about 15 yrs ago. She is still going strong.

My question: Is this a Salvia nemerosa or a Salvia sylvestris?

Thank you for your help.

Plant Identifier
Salvia sylvestris is the accepted name, while Salvia nemorosa is a synonym for the same species. Inflorescence branching pattern and leaves match Salvia nemorosa/sylvestris.
