Did everyone see this? 1st week of Dec starts the 2022 season!

Dec 6th is an exciting day, I'm waiting for it to order more roses, I might get something from Peony Shop, but not in large quantity, so not sure it's worth the shipping cost. But I think their Itoh roots were excellent.

Does anyone have Nelda's Joy? Is it worth getting for the last spot?

I do have Nelda's Joy. I have seen some beautiful photos of it. Mine has been very slow Growing.

Do you have Pastelegance? That is a definite must if you can splurge on it. Peony shop had it for under $100.

I called Gilbert and Wild and if you order today, the peonies will be shipped in Feb, thanks but no thanks. Last year as a newbie I ordered from them, but when I planted them, I later discovered they were dead or drying off because of the heat. So I guess I have to use the credit next year when they start the new year.

I ordered peonies for spring delivery from GW when I first started collecting. I figured in my zone it would be cold enough in the spring to be okay but didn't figure in how dry it is. Didn't lose a lot of them but they all needed extra care. Won't make that mistake again!

I am so over planting for this year! Any from this point on would have to be bagged and stored in the garage in CO—not a fun proposal for the house we're in now as it's barely big enough for Jeff's SUV and my jeep.
