Hey everyone!! I recently saved a palm tree from a dumpster, the palm was also bare rooted with few roots. The palm has long fronds and thin leaflets. It is around 5 feet in height. Can anyone identify this palm tree?? Shrug!

It looks like either a Kentia or Chamaedorea. Can you get a better lit pic of the base of the leaves?

Just goes to show that not all black spots are a disease. Keep it warm and moist (oh so difficult for you Hilarious! ) and it will recover eventually.

It also needs tons of stakes to keep it upright due to the 2 large fronds that sway in the wind and moving the entire plant. D'Oh! Smiling

I found that using slip knots, you can adjust to how far you want it to stake it.
