I tried to enter all the synonyms of it, but the system sends me to Galium brevifolium, while ITIS gives Galium Mollugo as the accepted name..
So G. brevifolium must be a synonym as the system sends me to that one? Confused

Galium brevifolium is not recognized by ITIS, there is two entry for it in the database;
Galium brevifolium subsp. brevifolium and
Galium brevifolium

I found the other synonyms on Wikipedia who take Galium album as the accepted name..

I have quite a bit of experience with that myself, Myriam. The synonym entries have to be deleted from the database before you can add them to the correct accepted entry.

Plants Admin

For Galium I'd use the Catalog of Life (referencing Kew WCSP), then ITIS.

http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/search/scientific/items/9...
http://apps.kew.org/wcsp/qsearch.do
http://www.itis.gov/servlet/SingleRpt/SingleRpt

I can run through this in the near future.
Evan
