What could be eating my ghosty succulents? It's seems like the holes turn black after whatever it is thats taking big ol' bites? I know it's not slugs! Does anyone have any ideas?

Oh yep those damned squirrels! They've never sampled on my succulents before, but they usually had fruit to ruin, but not much if any this year! Thank You!

Before I got Terrible Terrier, the squirrels even ate the Chollas! Ghostlys are tender and succulent with no spines - a much better choice.

Toshi the Terrible Terrier, doing what he does best: napping in a sunny spot. He got pretty excited when I told him I was taking his picture. Rolling on the floor laughing

She's not out there in the yard murdering small innocent creatures?

Lol the only thing she would do is lick them to death!🐾
Anyways I started thinking how can a squirrel or any other varmint get up on my plant like that & not break off any leaves? I mean they are pretty fragile as I knock them off quite easily!

I see your point. Have you considered that birds may be the culprit instead?

Those are pointed bite marks. I'd say birds are your culprit.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

Birds sound more plausible! Thank You!
