Thanks! That year, my kids found a huge patch of caterpillars, and put them in their bug box. They fed them until they made chrysalises (is that the correct plural for chrysalis?). When they hatched, we got to release tons of buckeye butterflies! We had no idea what kind of butterfly they would be. It was so exciting to watch the kids observing them and being so caring and careful not to touch or hurt them. Several came and landed on them for a while, which was just amazing!
