I just got a little pot of roses yesterday, I'm not sure if they're mini or just that small though. Anyways, any tips on how to keep them alive? How often should I water do they repotted? Thanks

If they are those small pots of blooming roses sold at markets and the like, they are pushed to bloom with the expectation that when they are done, they die.

Roses are OUTDOOR plants. You can save your little rose, as the blooms fade, by potting it up to a larger size and putting it outdoors. Putting into the ground, eventually, is optimal. Your Z6 winter may be a problem for it, if it is a tender variety.

While it is in the house, try to give it some sun, and water it when it is dry. Do NOT let it sit in a saucer full of water.

What Jeri said. You can try and keep it alive inside until spring when you can get it outside but it will be a challenge. It needs as much light as possible and higher humidity if you can. Put a dish of water next to the pot, NOT under it, to keep the humidity around it a little higher. Keep a close eye out for spider mites which are a big problem for roses indoors.
