Your pots are all lovely, but they also all seem to be a bit shallow, at least the ones you've posted in this thread. Do you make deeper pots? Ha ha, if I ever get my bills caught up, I'd love to have one! Love, love, love dragons and yours are just great!

The shallow pots I make are for Bonsai plantings.But to answer your question yes I can make deeper pots.I do alot of work by commission,just let me know how deep and big you are wanting one.

I rolled out a slab,then formed them around a wet paper ball,Its one way I get rid of all the junk sales papers I get in the mail. Hilarious!

Good idea!

Sometimes I've formed entire clay balls around a ball of wet paper, then flattened the bottom and added a hole with a lip to the top. Or just a hole, works either way. The paper burns out of it during bisque firing and it makes a really nice vase. I also love abstract shapes, so imperfect circles don't matter.
