Birmingham uk
I have recently moved into a new house in Birmingham, UK. In the back garden (full sun) are a few leafy plants that look like the attached image. It appears to withstand winter conditions, it's -3 degrees with snow today and it's still going strong.

Looks like Papaver somniferum..common name Poppy.
