Hello, I'm new to owning plants and I just bought this new plant. The plant label that usually comes in the soil must have fallen out. The tag calls it a petite mishima. However when I looked it up, nothing came up that looked like my plant. I just need to be able to research it so I can find out how to care for it perfectly. Thanks!

Welcome! to the forum cooper8!
It is a variegated form of Peperomia obtusifolia. It likes bright light but will tolerate lower light levels. In low light situations it 'stretches' and can become floppy. Don't keep it soggy, but don't keep it real dry either.

Happy Plant Parenting!

I agree, it looks like Peperomia obtusifolia 'Variegata'.

Thank you for the responses! I'm excited to be on this forum so hopefully I'll make less mistakes. I read that it's best to completely saturate the soil then let the soil dry out to a certain extent depending on the plant. Does this apply to this plant as well? Also, is a mixture of orchid bark, perlite, and potting mix ok for this plant? Thanks!

Yes, that's a great way to water it. That soil mix is good as well. If you are repotting it, don't use a pot much bigger than what it's in now. Putting new plants into much larger pots is one of the most common mistakes made by new plant parents. Also, don't bury any of the stems.
