Salvia lyrata is also the first thing that popped into my head.
I wonder if it might be a different variety of Salvia lyrata.
Because I have a
Lyreleaf Sage (Salvia lyrata 'Purple Volcano'), and its seedpods look similar to the one in the picture.
(The seed pods are around the stems, like a little tutu.)
But, the leaves are purple/round rather than green/rigid.
