Hello, I've had this succulent for almost a year and it's doing really well. At first when I bought it I thought it was an aloe, but then I noticed it likes to be a little further away from the grow light than my aloe vera, so I started wondering if it's some sort of haworthia. Does anyone know what exactly this is?

It has lots of babies around the base, so I tried to get a pic of some of them too. Thanks!!

Hello Ren!

That is an aloe, and you'll want to transfer it to a bigger pot once those babies get bigger. They get many, many offsprings, and will get huge. I forget the name of that particular aloe, but will get back to you once I find out. Thumbs up

Oh, and I believe your aloe is Gasteraloe (XGasteraloe 'Green Gold') or something related. I have one as well, and I used to know the name, but now I forget.

Baja, Stefan or someone else should be able to help you. Thumbs up

It looks like an intergeneric hybrid of Aristaloe and a Gasteria, if I had to guess. I cannot give you a name. It may or may not be this one.

Your plant is very similar to Aristaloe (formerly Aloe aristata), but it lacks the terminal thread on the tips of the leaves and the leaves are glossy. Compare to Aristaloe here:

Unfortunately there are a few hybrids in the general ballpark and I don't have enough experience to resolve them all.

If have 2 of them and agree it is a Gasteria.
And having been here a few years if I agree with
@baja-costero I am most likly correct. Rolling my eyes.
