Thanks so much for that suggestion Caroline--that just might work! When I started some of the Blushing Susie variety from seed, in the house, they started getting too long and twining around the ones next to them. So, I had to cut them back, but I hated to throw out those cuttings, so I decided to throw them in a vase with some water just to see what would happen. Those cuttings were VERY small in diameter, practically hair like, so I wasn't expecting much. I was totally amazed when after a few weeks I saw roots on all the cuttings!!! So, if I wait till really late in the season and take some cuttings, I might be able to overwinter them. And, I'm thinking, I'd save some of the seeds and try planting them too, just to see what I get.
