Crocus count but when early tulips come that is really spring,my cut off point for earliest blooms.

This crazy daylily opened last week but it is supposed to be pink. I think the cold air scared the pink out of it.

There are a few bloom stems just barely visible after cutting.I hope I got away scot free.Just in case the worst happens I will buy some more.I just love them.

I have never been tempted to plant pussywillow.Now I ealize the cultivated ones might not spread like the stick DD brought home from a school trip to a local nursery.That thing was huge and multistemmed after 3 years.Parts died and broke off.
It must have been a swamp variety.
I have 'French Pink' and it has not been overly aggressive. Easy to prune and keep the size you want it. The catkins begin forming in the Fall and it provides year around interest here.
