I have a couple growlights over a cactus and my succulents. I mostly only use them in the winter when the sun goes down early. They are doing well.

I have a white light in that general area that I thought about scooting over or pointing in that general direction. It's at least a 5,○○○ kelvin, maybe even as white as 1○,○○○.

I'm not so much curious if that white of a light is helpful, so much as I'm wondering if it's harmful.

Make sense? Thanks!

The more light the better. How far away is this light? Pointing it in the general direction from several feet away probably wouldn't be noticeable to anyone but you. If you want to move it closer, do it slowly over a couple weeks.

Gotcha, thanks!.

One foot over, but another 2 feet higher.

It's on a multi level stand. I could point it toward the plants and move it down a level even couple days. The 3rd move would be on the same level as the plants.

Thanks! Everyone on this forum is always really helpful.

The worry is sunburn. Be slow with the ligh moving and watch the plants carefully.
