I can't find my bloom and plant photos of Agastache 'Apricot Sprite', except a photo when it was first emerging from winter dormancy. I can't believe I don't have photos of the mature plant and blooms. This year. Thumbs up

I did add some agastache photos to the database from Wild Ginger Farm. Her stock is so hardy.

The scent from the foliage is intoxicating. Lovey dubby

Those are gorgeous, Lynn. That Orange Humminbird Mint looks lucious. Very nice looking plant! You recommend Wild Ginger Farm then, I take it?

Boy, do I ever. I have purchased plants from them for the last 3 years. They live up in the hill country leading to the Cascade Mountain Range and raise very hardy plants.
It is easy to spend an entire day there, plant browsing and taking photos. I'll be going as soon as it opens this spring.

Here are a two more from Wild Ginger Farm.

There is another one I need to add to the database, listed as Agastache rugosa 'Golden Jubilee', but I can't find this one listed in ITIS.
But I do find it here: http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bi...

I'm referring to both ITIS and the USDA/GRIN databases. But put the photos of 'Golden Jubilee' here.

I enjoy seeing them in a garden setting like that.

I have been thinking about 'Tutti Frutti' since it's a taller one, but I'd like it to last longer than 3 years. However, that is the definition of a "perennial" plant ... one that lives 3 years or more. I guess I can save seeds. I do like it a lot.

Good question. I'm seeing it sold as seed and I think A. rupestris (the species) does come true from seed, but the cultivars probably wouldn't.

Got nine or 10 baby Agastaches from mamajack in spring and let most of them die over this last hotttttt summer. Tutti Frutti, Black Adder, Summer Love, Firebird, and Blue Boa were still kicking as of last month. Will see if they overwinter okay.

My Raspberry Summer and another I cant remember were from Mammajack's co-op.Those really tiny plants had a hard time of it in last summers heat. It will be interesting to see how many survived.
