The only pup that it has produced is 99% albino.
I would like the mother to produce more pups as this is the only one I have of this species. But I cannot imagine the albino pup will live without the mother plant
Anyone have any experience here?

I will chime in with my experience with albino offsets.
I have read that they would not survive on their own, as they get their needs from the mother plant.
I had such a pup produced that had a very high percentage (90%) of albinism. I removed the pup when it had reached 50% size of the mother Neoregelia. The pup had roots at the time of removal. The albino pup struggled, but had enough energy and produced 2 new growth starts and then the albino mother quickly passed away. The offsets survived but returned to the look of the grandmother Neoregelia.
Here is a look at N. 'Sheba' taken this morning of it's second albino pup.
'Sheba' is a stolonifeious type Bromeliad and on the stolon that produced the first albino pup provided another. The albino mother (never removed from 'Sheba' mother) of this current pup did not reach maturity before her demise.
Has your mother Bromeliad plant reached maturity (flowered) yet?
