I like #3 best as it has that "Historic" look to it. I like the less "full" falls and standards. I also like #1, but if I can only have one; then it must be #3.

#1 and I will say why... First, I can't say I have kept up with all the new irises coming out but it seems like there are many with a gold edge like #s 2 and 3. #1 appears to have a lighter cream band with just a hint of gold edge; it looks like the standards are held close; and those super wide falls reminds me of a square dance skirt in full whirl.

#1 really caught my eye before I read the votes so it looks like there is a lot of agreement.

I agree that you should go with #1, however, I also feel #2 should be considered. If you would like, I'll be happy to trial either, or both, in my garden in KY.

The question is does something with a little bit a historic look sell?

There is a following for historics but do not think many hybriders today are breeding historic to modern.

I like both the Modern & Historics I like the history with the older ones. I have even found a few that supposed to
re-bloom.
