A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!

Chris I remember one Easter in Mi, the ice storm was so crazy several days of ice all on the trees, roads and everything! (probably 1977 or 78) I don't miss that weather, although it is totally gorgeous! Please take care, stay home as much as possible!! I tip my hat to you. (If you ever decide to move out west... Rolling on the floor laughing Thumbs up )

Jojoe, I like the ground cover sedums too, and they'll look great in your beds!! I tip my hat to you.

Jelinda, here is some information for you on this sedum. He might even have it out in the nursery trade now. Give him a call and see if you can get it from him, or where you might be able to get it.
valleylynn said:Okay, I just talked to Brent Horvath. What a very pleasant person to talk to.
Anyone interested in owning this new sedum can contact him.

Here is what he sent in an email: Brent Horvath "I will sell plants retail, qt for $10 plus shipping for those interested."
You can call him at phone 800-648-2788 ext. 15 (after message key in 15) He will either answer the phone, if not leave him a message. You can use a debit/credit card to pay. No Paypal.
This is a wholesale business, but he is willing to do this one plant as a retail sell, for us.

I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it. Should be here in a few days, maybe beginning of next week, since this is Wed.
I am so excited to get this plant.

It definitely is pretty all ice covered. My Dad just called and they just got a branch through their roof, so I'll be leaving work early to go help them out.

Jelinda, if you contact him, please post his response here. If we're able to get it somewhere I'd be interested too. Lynn, how is yours doing? Do you have a picture?

This was taken yesterday. It is just starting to wake up. It would have been farther along, except our weather turned cold and wet again.

Nice! Great color combination - the pink and pale green. Looks like it has quite small leaves. Do they stay that size or are they expected to get larger as the plant grows?

I don't know yet. I've been watching it to see what it is going to do.
This should give us an idea of what to expect. S. ternatum and spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco'
