That's a cool plant! Did you plant it or did it volunteer? Has it bloomed?

Planted it. Wife sent me to store to get some ivy last spring and when I got home with a bunch of that stuff, she informed me it was not ivy, and it did not have any name on it. End of summer she had grown to like the stuff so we kept one over the winter. Now trying to figure out what it is and if I can put cuttings in dirt or if it should go in the cloner to try to get a bunch ready for outdoor planters this summer.

Internet search shows me some variants of Lysemachia that look identical except, missing the purple veins in leaves. They grew well in pots on deck last summer but no flowers were ever produced.

Still unsure what the vine is. Put 15 cuttings of ?vine? and 5 cuttings of ivy in my cloner. After 3 days ivy is doing nothing, but ?vine? is great, all 15 already have roots shooting out of cut leaf nodes.

Looked up the name when you posted that, with Bing search engine. Under images, the only image that was the same leaf, was a post elsewhere, of someone asking what it was, and never was identified. Might have to switch back to Google search. After links were provided below, yes, you had it right.

Happy to share, not sure what you wish to know. I don't know, but assume they are common place with gardeners, if not they are with growing cannabis. Available on the web, head shops, and lots of diy plans on the web. Same as putting a clipping in a glass of water, except you are moving and super oxygenating the water for faster propagation. Is just a plastic box with lid, submersible fish tank water pump and air pump.
