Hi
My Mother's Succulent was forgotten on the Balcony over the Winter here in Germany..
Temperatures ranging from -14 or -7 to +4 degrees celcius if I remember correctly.
Frequent Rain, Snow and Hail.

All it's leaves are rotten but I'm not quite sure if there might be some roots that could be saved..? If there are, could it regrow from just those?

I know these are horrible conditions for it. I don't have much hope but asking some people could be worth a try, right?

Here's how it looked before as well

update edit
I have cut the upper part of the Succulent (leaves and a bit of the stem) off. The stem still seems fresh/alive and possibly live roots attached to it.
Update edit 2
The stem piece has lots of live looking (white and healthy looking) roots attached to it.

1-No, your mom's succulent is not going to grow back from roots
2-Im gonna guess no drainage holes on the bottom because its a glazed ceramic pot with no tray bellow, that is a big no-no. It also looks swollen from too much water
3-asside from that, Id think only hail can really kill a sempervivum. They are quite cold hardy and somewhat wet resistant....so im just gonna guess conditions were among the worst available.

Well, I guess it's definitely 100% dead then.
The pot actually does have drainage holes, but with all this rain/snow/hail it probably doesn't make a big difference..
Thanks for the reply ^^
