Philadelphia Pa Southeast Pa??
I ordered 3 potted cuttings that said they were well rooted. Well I got 5 cutting with no roots. They looked horrible. I put the in a jar in water. Do you think maybe I should try to plant them? They still look horrible. I'm pulling off some little dead leaves. I know they say that they get stressed with traveling and all. I'm just afraid by the time they're not stressed anymore they'll be dead.☹️

I agree WJ's are tough little plants, you will see roots start to develop in a few weeks, as Bill posted Be Patient Green Grin!

My friend suggested Purple Zebra for the purple-er version of inch plant.
Yes, they root like crazy and will be fine with good light. But don't buy anymore from that seller. How long have you had them? Those are very thin and spindly.
I took stems off my purple zebra plant, and just stuck them in moist potting mix. Haven't even blinked- you'd swear it was a fully rooted plant.
Plant it and they will come.

Cbaby61, Just a friendly FYI, Winter is a bad time of the year for anyone to ship plants, next time you want any try to wait till Spring when it warms up a bit. I know they can sit in a delivery truck or cold warehouse for hours or days.

Sallyg I just got them at the beginning of this week. Yes I saw those beautiful purple ones but I guess I wanted to make sure I wouldn't screw them up. Years ago I was good with plants but the last 2 years I bought all these plants from one of the shopping channels on tv, NOTHING came to life! That was 2 yrs ago then last year I had a lot of seeds, they started sprouting about 1/2 of an inch, then idk what happened. Yesterday I got my Bonnie spider plant in a 4" pot & a neon pothos( philodendron) & they are beautiful!!! I was so happy!!! Thanks everyone for your feedback & suggestions! I appreciate your replies!!

They'll grow just fine. Trim off the leaves that are rotten and slimy. I'd shorten them up a few nodes too.

Does anyone know about this plant & have a suggestion for me? I just opened it up & it has roots so I guess I should plant it? Here's a pic

Your going to love the Purple Heart, they grow pretty fast, the more sun she gets the deeper the purple will be, keep the soil moist but not wet. I would pot her up now if you haven't already.
