Hello! Smiling

I've been trying to ID this guy for a while now. Hubby got this for me when his coworker moved jobs and left it behind on his desk.

I'm going to guess it's a really stressed out (sun or otherwise) echinopsis subdenudata, but I want to be sure...I'm knowledgeable about most succulents but haven't looking much into cacti (until now!).

I have a ton more pictures if these aren't helpful, and thank you in advance! Thank You!

I think you are correct on the ID, others will hopefully chime in with their opinions. It can be sun/temperature stressed. I have severa Echinopsis hybrids going all sorts of red/orange/purple/purplish-black due to temperature/sun/water stress.
