Thread OP
Hughesville, Maryland
I bought a elephant ear bulb a coupe weeks ago. I stored in a cool dark place till it gets warm enough to plant it in Maryland. However it looks like it might be getting some small moldy spots. It is still firm so I don't think it is rotting. What can I do to stop it from molding, maybe put it in the sun shine. Thanks for any help.

Why don't you pot her up now and once she gets big enough you can transplant her into the ground, I always start mine in my apartment before I transplant them into a large pot on my patio.

Do as Bill suggested and wipe it off, as long as there are NO soft spots your good to go nodding

Agreed. I would pot now in a warm place and get started. (Hmm, I guess I should get my own similar plants starting..)
Plant it and they will come.
