Is it normal for my cactus to have fluff/hair around the spines like this?
I don't know what type of cactus it is!
Are you meant to clean cacti at all? Like how you have to wipe down shiny leaves of houseplants to keep them dust free, for example

You can take it outside on a warm day and give it a bath.
