Hi Everyone,
Thanks to the many of you who have written with encouragement and prayers regarding my husband being downsized after 34 years with his company. We thought we'd have to move soon but after much deliberation (and discovering we can't get a loan for 6 months) we've decided to stay here, at least for the foreseeable future. He'll work on getting his software development company going and I'll replant the daylilies I potted "to move". Come on bloom season!

I appreciate your being there.

Les

I'm so glad you don't have to move, just sorry you'd already started digging. Are you also having that warm spell that people on the eastern section of the country are enjoying? We've been freezing here for the last three days (most unusual for Bakersfield!), and unfortunately I think it will be heading your way...

Betty, I'm sitting here in shorts taking a break from working outside. We've had delightful spring like weather this week. Some of my dormants are waking up!

Thanks to you all.

Good luck to you and your husband. I'm so sorry, it must have been an extreme shock after so long on the job.

Best wishes to you and your husband. After all those years, it is
quite a trauma to experience. Hope everything works out for the best.
