Hi Mike!

Still trying to figure out what I can grow here - admittedly, I'm not terribly in to tropicals, too much babysitting. But I really do want to try some kaempferia-maybe as house plants. I'd also like to get some Elephant ears, hoya and interesting succulents - unfortunately, Echeveria melt here, but I'll keep my eyes open!

ANywho, for this one - 4 of the Kaempferia, and hopefully you'll have some other stuff I can combine with it!

Hope all is well-

Sheryl

Hey Sheryl
you are to to hot for a lot of the succulents right? do you cat cold in winter at all? can not remember your zone refresh me PLEASE. i can give you some choices and I think if you have the room inside you can get a lot of things to grow as house plants. Do you have agave ? cati? do you irrigate? or water restrictions to bad?

thanks

Nope, no water restrictions, but I try not to overdo it, either. I was actually thinking of the EEs directly in some water in a fountain or something. Anything else that takes much water are in large pots.

We actually got down to 22 a few weeks ago - I think that's the coldest I've ever seen.

I love agave, and have a couple. Lost a few to the cold, not fully established yet. Also have a few aloes, and... some ADENIUM!!!

I have room inside, but pretty limited light and pretty widely fluctuating temps.
In the end, only kindness matters.
