I have Brazil Philodendron & neon, golden, & marble queen pothos. I am interested in getting cuttings or rooted pieces of pothos, trailing philodendron, or Scindapsus. I don't need anything rare or outrageously expensive, I just want some houseplants for myself & to share with my sister, who's just getting into plants.

Or, if you can point me to reputable etsy, Amazon, or Facebook sellers?? Thank you!!!!

Gee, I wish you'd posted this a few days ago! We just had our property cleared of Pothos, Philodendron and Arrowhead Vines. It was scrambling all over the ground and climbing into the trees.

Oh yeah, in warm climates they form a jungle of vines. Leaves on the ground start out small like the house plants you find sold in stores but as they climb higher into the trees, the leaves get really huge. I loved the tropical look of the Pothos and Philodendron growing in the trees but unfortunately my husband didn't and he had it all removed. A few years ago I'd planted a Monstera deliciosa beneath a tree; it had grown quite a bit and was getting pretty big and there was lots of Monstera adansonii growing up two trees in that area of the yard. I told him that I didn't want either of those plants removed but after the work was done, I went walking around the yard and Grumbling it was all gone! I'm kicking myself for not going out there and watching to be sure they didn't remove it! There is still a stem of M. adansonii vine higher up one tree, attached to the tree bark and it should be fine growing as an epiphyte. I have another potted M. deliciosa that's been sitting under a tree in another part of the yard for about 5 years; it's taken root through the pot and when that area gets the invasive ferns and vines removed I will be out there to make sure that they do not touch that plant! Green Grin!

Lin, that's heartbreaking -- I love the look you had going!

"watching" this because I'd love a recommendation for a reputable seller of cuttings, also!

Just a note... I went over to Garden Watchdog (DG) just now to post an update on Santa Rosa (different business model, no more selling loads of great perennials). I checked the "top 30" list to see if anybody new had been added and found "Kat's Kountry Kuttins." With something like 250 positives and 16 negatives, I don't know how they were added to the "top 30" list. I read the negative reviews and was appalled at the snarky responses from the seller (both quoted email responses and direct responses from the company printed below the reviews). Looks like they may sometimes have more of a selection of houseplants and tropicals, so I thought it was worth mentioning here -- read their reviews, don't assume a "Top 30" is a recommendation in and of itself!

I am not sure what this plant is- I assume a philodendron. My friend grows it here in FL. The original plant was an offshoot of her sisters plant. I am staying with my friend until my new place ( with a patio for plants) is ready around June 1.

I just potted up a bit for a hanging basket. Tree mail me if you want a bit for trade or SASE. I'll try to get some roots.

Andi, your plant is Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) which is in the same (Araceae) family of plants as Philodendron.

Hilarious! Hilarious! Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious!

I looked at your list but unfortunately I don't have anything for trade. I have a couple unknown Hostas I can divide or violet wood sorrel. That's it for the time being due to the crazy weather we've had recently (& the dog someone dumped here. She has destroyed a lot😒😠). I can do postage if that works.

Sorry Kathy, I missed your post. I potted up a piece of my friend's plant and moved to my own place! Finally have enough done to start playing with plants again.

Waiting for a cooler day to put up plant hooks. I'll root some cuttings once I hang the plant. A few friends want one.

If anyone wants rooted cuttings, let me know. I'll swap for something on your list. Starting from nothing yet again, I am sure you have something I like. There are very few plants I don't. (former plants were donated to lady of community gardens still thriving without me).
