I agree, C. elegans. Your "bumpy trunk one" is even more bumpy than mine. Aside from that, your pics could be of my plants. In October, I separated that really tall bumpy one and the smallest one from the clump and gave those 2 a separate pot to share. I wanted to be able to see that trunk more clearly. For years, it's looked like the bumps would "do" something but they never have. The clump makes lots of those ball flower things each spring and once a seedling showed up in a nearby pot.

Janet, one of the links you posted had a pic of a "real tree" in the ground somewhere. Since I've had this now about 4-ft. tall clump of trees for about 20 years, that blew me away. Obviously it's had better conditions compared to a potted one, but still WOW! Really enjoyed looking at that.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)

I just took those nice dark berries off the female plant and put them into the bare spots in the large plant. I left 3-4 green ones on the pretty orange branch. I hope they give me a thick beautiful palm. Admiring the full and beautiful, yellow male inflorescence, I was thinking, "Typical male, all looks and no function!" Rolling on the floor laughing
