Hello, I live just west of Bowling Green, KY north of Nashville and Clarksville, TN. I was wondering if anyone on this forum is also in my area. I would love to find some collectors that are wanting to trade a few hosta plants or at least talk hosta. Thanks!

Teresa see if your area has a local hosta club. If not you can talk all the hosta you want here.

I've got a good friend who lives in Bowling Green - a retired viola prof from the University, but AFAIK, they aren't much into hosta growing.

It is a small world! Kentucky seems to be a place people are coming to retire. Cost of living and housing is much better than the large cities.

Hi, well I lost my old apple tree that was part of my hosta shade. Any one use a pergola with shade cloth? My thought was make a large one and have part for a sitting area.

I reworked some of my hosta today and added more mulch and compost. Anyone have problems with little black flying bugs/bettles? They even got on me!
