In the past I have always just brought my plumeria inside for the winter. This year, due to my plant storage space becoming my daughter's room, I decided to overwinter them in my garage. Our nighttime temps are just getting above 50 consistently, so I am about to repot them for the year. After repotting should I water/not water? Any other recommendations?? This method is new to me!

If there is foliage then I would start to water regularly. If there is no foliage and you replace the potting soil with new potting mix, I may water a small amount near the roots but just once this time. If you re-pot, add more soil on the sides and at the bottom only but the existing soil feels humid, I would not water. If the existing soil feels dry and is separating from the sides of the pot, I would water a little.

But remember that the conditions for repotting or for moving the pots outside may not necessarily intersect with the need for water.

Currently sitting with roots in a bag (almost no soil, just so that any remaining soil didn't get everywhere in my garage) and it has no foliage. I will repot with my 50/50 mix and water very lightly the first time until I see leaves. If this seems good, let me know. Thanks!
