What would you plant in this pot that would climb and bloom? I put hyacinth beans in it last summer. I was not impressed. They need a trellis to climb high. Lol

Interesting!! Are you looking for something seasonal, or more long-term that you would protect inside or in greenhouse for winter? What is the sun exposure?

Just seasonal. Since I no longer have my "real" greenhouse and have to deal with less than ideal conditions for overwintering, I don't want something that will croak anyway. Southern exposure, so sun all the time. I'd rather not have morning glories.

This kind of Coleus would fill it up in no time. Could probably need to be watered daily, probably all of my suggestions could.
Coleus (Coleus scutellarioides Stained Glassworksโ„ข Burgundy Wedding Train)

Lantana could be interesting in there.

Plectranthus amboinicus or forsteri.

I can imagine Petunias looking really great in this, but they never really last into the heat where I am.

Chenille plant.

Catharanthus roseus (Vinca.)

@AnnaZ I've always wanted one of these for my succulents Lovey dubby or maybe some mini-phal orchids. They won't need to be watered everyday and could last in this container for a few years without repotting.

I like the plant called climbing gloxinia
I think they call it Lophospermum now (one of those they keep changing the name )
blooms pink and kinda look like foxglove flowers.

I have trimmed it back in the fall and successfully kept it in as a houseplant , but now just get it from a local greenhouse .

Calibrochoas! They behave better than their bigger xpcousins, petunias, and are available in a variety of colors.
