Hey Jojoe! Good to see you on here! Yep sedum are succulents! And you probably know, some sedum are "tender" and some are cold hardy. Mostly for me around here, they don't like being too wet in the winter, but if you're having a mild winter and they're continuing to grow, then water normally and they just take off for you!!! I have some I can send you, but I want to know what color you do have (I'm pretty sure you have Blue Spruce and Angelina, I have one similar to Angelina but its got more reddish tips, and I think its a smaller plant over all. Then I have many green ones but with different textures.
You can treemail me if you'd like (gg5)
Cheers and be well - stay dry! Hurray!

Hi Jojoe, I know regarding semps that most of mine (at least a hundred of them) are all green and the colors aren't going to show up till later. So be patient. Yes, tell us what colors you do have and, at least I can watch for colors to send to add to your garden. Maybe both Greg and I can make a small difference?

Hurray! Good morning Jelinda.

Yes, sedum are succulents.
For help with your Epiphyllum I would try here. Lots of members in this forum that would have great information on this type of plant.

Thanks, i will get some pictures of my rock garden where the sedum & semp's are & post them.I seen a plant in a magazine that was a sedum similiar to my blue spruce & angelina only it had a pink tint to it.Does anyone know what the name of this sedum is.I love the way they turn colors in the winter and would love to add one that turns pinkish along side angelina.

Thank you all for being so helpful and as always so nice. Group hug Lovey dubby

What time of the year did it have the pink tint? And how was it being grown, in full sun?

I don't have a pinkish one, and most of mine I haven't had through a winter yet, so don't know really what colors - Green, gold, reddish and yellow are the colors I know so far! I tip my hat to you. nodding

I know some of the semi-hardy sedum can acquire a pinkish tone with cool weather. But they don't look like a S. rupestre type sedum.
I've been searching to see if I can find something like what Jelinda is looking for.

Jelinda, where did you see that sedum? Can you go back and get a photo?

Since it was a magazine pic you really cannot not trust those. They do a lot of Photoshop.

When you say it was "similiar to my blue spruce & Angelina" are you saying a ground cover or did it have a needle type form? or are you thinking it was the same because it was a ground cover. The only ground cover sedum that I can think of that has pink is Tri-color.

I have one that has a bit of pink on it. I'm not home right now but will get a picture in the AM. I just bought it this spring and have it in a strawberry pot.

I have mine planted by the greenhouse because I was thinking it was a bit tender. The soil there is very rocky under the top layer.

It tends to go mostly dormant for me, losing many of it's leaves. May just be to wet during winter and spring. I will have to try moving it and see how it does in a faster draining situation.
