I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
Against warnings, I planted this grass inground. I had a hedgerow in 3 years. It encircled a very dark purple loropetalum so the effect was stunning. I do not miss fighting the rhizomes which grew every minute of every day. But I do miss its contribution as a "blue" in my garden. Thinking of planting This grass as a thriller, a dwarf Loropetalum as a filler and don't know what as a spiller.

Please share your experience growing leymus in container.

That does sound stunning and worth a try. With a plant that grows that fast you might not need a spiller but I think I would consider trying one of the silver Helichrysums.

Hello A, yes to heli. I was cruising on Pinterest and saw something along those lines.
