Does anyone have good general gardening sites to recommend?

I use Johnny's Seeds and Territorial Seeds as sources of information. They are seed vendors, but they both have lots of info.

If you go here, you can find a Cooperative Extension System Office for your county.
As you follow the link down to your county, you also find links to universities in your state with Ag departments that have outreach programs:

I use http://www.extension.org/searc... which contains gardening information from all US Extension Service Locations.

The jocks at some local high school wanted to change the name of some group or team to "The Snohomos", which I thought was really cool and modern of them.

The administration wouldn't let them.
