Thread OP

Hi everyone. This is my first post here and hoping to get an answer for my question. I have a red maple planted 3 years ago. I was growing and good until this year which I noticed red spots on the leaves. I think it is some sort of galle but not sure how to treat my treat or if it is serious. Can you please help me on what I should do and a potential pesticide?

Welcome! to the forum Arsh78!
Yes those are galls produced by a mite. They look weird, but no real harm is done. Ignore them or spray with Carbaryl just as the leaves start to open in the spring.
