What an unusual iris color splash. The number of cultivars in this group just amazes me. You know, there is a town in Central Texas hill country called Cranfills Gap. I learned of it looking for rural properties to buy out that way. It's north west of Austin. I live just north of Austin.

Wow, i have no idea that the iris is named after a town! Thank you so much for sharing this info. My brother also lives near Austin, in Hutto, TX. His family loves it there. People are so nice!
