I need help in adding a new plant to the database.

I know:
genus is Pyracantha
species is angustifolia

But where does the other information go? Is 'Monon' the cultivar name, or is Yukon Belle with the reg. mark?

Yes, Lynn, I think you're right. It looks as though Monon is the cultivar name and Yukon Belle® is the trade name.

So the R in a circle is the same as a trade name? I do some that have a t in a circle, so didn't know if that has a different use or meaning.

A capital R within a circle means the name is a registered trademark.

Type the following without the underscore. Or as Sue said copy/paste.

While typing in the information for a new plant entry, you type &_trade; when you type in the cultivar name. Is that correct?

If not I will use Sue's suggestion.

Yep, I just trialed it here and did a preview, you just leave out that underscore and it works.

Leave out that underscore Lynn, just like Evan said "Type the following without the underscore". That's the lower line right after the &.He showed it to us that way to demonstrate the steps, had he left it out, it would not show how he went about creating it.
