Here in central Michigan (zone 5a/5b), the latest daylilies to bloom are Steeple Jackie (end of August -- September); Hemerocallis citrina "Yao Ming" (August/September); and Charleston Autumn Moonlight (diploid; starts blooming in September, and last fall was still blooming in October!)

Charleston AM is not particularyily vigorous (1-2 new growths a year), and some years the frost comes before it blooms! I covered it several times last fall, so that I could enjoy the flowers longer.

Ruffled Strawberry Parfait

In my garden it starts in the second half of July and flowers until mid August - it's a beautiful but quite pale cultivar - like many of the lates and very lates you can get.
