That's all for me. My camera died before I could get into the back yard, so more later. Isn't it wonderful to welcome back the roses?

It was a beautiful show!

Sadly, Geschwindt's Orden was out of stock when I finally ordered from Eurodesert this season. Both of my Graham Thomas roses died this winter. And I failed so quickly and miserably with Tropicana long ago, that I'm not sure I will ever try again. Your Celine Forestier is a real beauty. That's the only cultivar above that is in my garden, and it is smaller this spring than when I put it in a year ago; all the canes froze to the ground. So, your garden is full of roses I covet but cannot grow for one reason or another. I really appreciate being able to enjoy the flowers through photographs!

Steve, you're quite welcome. I love seeing all the roses everyone is growing. It helps me decide which ones to try (or not, as the case may be), but I enjoy the photos tremendously.

Re: Celine Forestier, she's supposed to be fragrant, as she's a noisette, but I can't detect any fragrance. Maybe it's simply not within my nose's fragrance scale Rolling on the floor laughing

Oh, boy. I can't wait.

That's such a gorgeous photo of Geschwind's Orden. Every time I see it on the Palatine Website, I want it, but then I remember that it's a once-bloomer and I just can't give up much space to them.

Zu: I took a photo of it tonight as it sprawls along a fence section. Just wait til you see it! Probably won't get it downloaded until tomorrow, as I have a few other things to do, but it's quite lovely.
