After the rain. Bees love it, too.
Most I've seen are crimson, but this one is a nice plum color, growing in a large pot. Its roots have grown through the drainage holes into the soil.

The raindrops put on a nice finishing touch. There's always something new coming from your "neck of the woods".

Love the banner, Cal. Thumbs up
Wanting to see more full-sized photos of it, I searched the database for the binomial you supplied and ended up on this page
Callistemon viminalis subsp. viminalis
Oddly enough, it has no photos yet, and you seem to be just the man who could supply that deficiency! Smiling

The slide show and video were great, Cal. The honeybees loved these flowers. Do you see hummers on them, too?

Thanks, Laurie. Smiling

I don't think the blooms make nectar for the hummers,
just pollen for the bees.

But just guessing. Haven't seen hummers on them yet.
I think hummers need blooms like salvia that have tube type
blooms.
