More hoop house than green house, but it is well underway. I have a crew on board to help skin it when they get back from Mexico then it should be ready to go. Will have to determine temperature swings, next, as it is not heated. Thumb of 2013-02-04/nancynursez637/ee15e5

Are you going to put down a gravel base for the floor?

No, put in raised beds and then sawdust on the floor, I will grow directly in the beds, similar to what I do in the garden,

Susan I had to make all that dirt one compost pile at a time, I live just east of the Cascade Mountains where all soil is volcanic sand, and so poor in nutrients plants simply languish. So have been working on it, every year for 8 years

Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. ;) Gardening takes a lot of work, but replenishes the soul.

Wow, I'm impressed! Guess I'd better work on our pile a little more.
