Hello Dirt, from what I can deduct this is a recent upload. However I was unable ( due to my intrinsic clumsiness with E-things) to figure if it belongs to the present season (2021). I've finally come to grips that when it becomes possible ( beyond 2021) I might consider ordering from two of the major iris nurseries. (Mid America or Schreiners) that do ship abroad. Of your picture I just was able to find locally 'Nassau Blue' which ought to arrive the end of this week. Still the supply side of SDBI is very scanty. ( the others Ahwahnee Princess, Cache of Gold, Pinkster and Pepi ) All from Suttons who also ships abroad. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!
Arturo

Hi Arturo,
It is a pic from last spring (2020). Currently, I am growing you a bunch of seeds, mostly SDBs, which I will send later this summer.
Sure I can suggest, when you get to ordering we'll see what they have...
Check Cayeux too--they have a lot of SDB and MDB and they export Smiling

Thank you so much Dirt! Yes I'm checking Cayeux. Yes they do have a marvelous assortment of SDBIs and have exported recently to Argentina. I'm planning a purchase from them. I was wondering about the MDBI. These seem the less known, even in the large world. Imo they are the best size for a rock garden setting. Am I correct? If Covid abates my first shipments should reach here July/August 2022. However the ordering should be placed by Jan 2022, so that if issues around substitutes arise I prefer to handle them before the parcel is being packaged. Thus the listing should be finely polished by early December. I've got six months ahead to get my homework done. I'll T-mail you with my lists when ready then. Of course when summer reaches there I'll be ready to get your seeds, give them their cold treatment and sow them. Our winters( cold weather) is long enough that I suspect I'll have ample elbow room, for those seeds to get the cold they need before they start germinating.
Thank You!
Arturo
