Thanks, Leslie. Very nice how-to-do photos. I would like to know where you
get those little dots also.

Sunny, many thanks for sharing your methods of saving pollen.

Glad we have a great source for hybridizing supplies, Teresa. Thanks.

All these various methods, photos, and excellent advice from all are extremely
helpful for me and anyone interested in saving pollen. Great informative gang
you all are. Hurray!

To see the dot package open the middle picture and look on the left side. The package is sitting to the back of my box of hang tags. I don't remember where exactly I got them but most probably from Staples.

Loved seeing some one else's paper plates!

I develop a pattern each summer

Left top, mine

Right top, tets

Bottom, dips

Or something like that.

I usually only use a dozen if that, each year. Something specially purchased for its genes that I need.

One year I used Intelligent Design on every tet UF or eyed the first 2 weeks. Especially on tall purples.

This past year, I used as much Venus Fly Trap as I could get pollen.

Etc.

I have ordered from Pollendabber and been very satisfied. Also marking the Pollen tube is a good Idea. I just cut a white piece of paper and write the name of the cultivar on it and put scotch tape over it and then wrap it around the tube. Works great for me.

You guys are so right about Pollendabber. Excellent transaction, great
communication, and fast to deliver. What's not to love?

Thanks all for the input.
